Conversations with Pioneers in Health & Science
Exploring a new perspective on Natural Health
Sometimes you step into a place and immediately feel it: something special is happening here. That’s exactly what we experienced on October 25 and 26, when we arrived at Antropia in Zeist (The Netherlands) for the Back to the Future event organized by ArtsenCollectief (Netherlands Doctors’ Collective).
For two days, people from all over the world came together, united by a shared desire to restore humanity, trust, and autonomy in modern medicine. The event’s subtitle captured this perfectly: “Restoring Hippocrates, trust & sovereignty in modern medicine.”
A unique opportunity
For us ( Robbert and Monique) the weekend had a dual purpose. We regularly support the ArtsenCollectief by documenting their events, and this time we did so through a photo impression. At the same time, we took this unique opportunity to sit down with a number of leading pioneers in health and science for our series Only Natural while they were in the Netherlands.
We filmed the interviews without a script, using only a few general questions. The answers surprised us: everyone had a different perspective, yet there were also clear similarities. One recurring theme was the importance of being your own doctor. These interviews have strengthened our ideas. In the coming year, we will explore what we can do with this valuable material and look into the possibilities of using it for one or more episodes of our Only Natural series.
The future of medicine
What made the weekend truly special was the energy and sense of connection. The open conversations, spontaneous encounters, and shared feeling that everyone present was genuinely working toward a healthy and just future; for ourselves and for generations to come. All of it made one thing clear: the future of medicine will not be shaped by systems alone, but by people willing to question, to truly listen, and to act with integrity. We’re grateful to have witnessed and documented these moments.
